Kevin : We want to go away for the weekend, but we have a problem.
Jim : What’s that?
Kevin : Well, we need a tent. We gave (1) to my uncle and he hasn’t
brought it back. Can you lend us (2) ?
Jim : Well, I don’t really want to give(3) to anyone. Selina has got
one. Can’t you ask her for(4) ?
Kevin : No, (5) is too small for two of us, and it is not nice like
(6) .
Jim : Well, Mike has got one, too. What’s wrong with (7) ?
Kevin : Oh! No! It’s terribly old, and it lets the rain in.
Jim : OK. How about the Browns’?(8) is nice and big.
Kevin : Well, (9) is too big for two people. Why don’t you let us have
(10) ? You know it’s ideal for us.
Jim : OK. All right then. Be careful with it.
Kevin : Oh we will. I promise. Thank you very much Jim.

Grammar and language is very important in a person's daily life. In school , at the office , and even if you are just with your friends. The correct usage of words and the correct structure of sentences for describing a person , an object or a thing are very important . That is why there are PRONOUNS . Pronouns will help you in making describing people or things much easier.
A pronoun is a word that substitutes a noun or noun phrase. There are a number of different kinds of pronouns in English.

For example, consider the sentence "Lisa gave the coat to Phil." All three nouns in the sentence can be replaced by pronouns: "She gave it to him." If the coat, Lisa, and Phil have been previously mentioned, the listener can deduce what the pronouns she, it and him refer to and therefore understand the meaning of the sentence; however, if the sentence "She gave it to him." is the first presentation of the idea, none of the pronouns have antecedents, and each pronoun is therefore ambiguous. Pronouns without antecedents are also called unprecursed pronouns. English grammar allows pronouns to potentially have multiple candidate antecedents. The process of determining which antecedent was intended is known as anaphore resolution.
